George Mcknight

George McKnight is a father, software developer, 2nd-degree black belt, and lifelong creator with ink in his veins.

He first stepped into the printing world in the early 1980s, learning the craft as a screen printer for Starter Corporation. That experience sparked a career that would eventually merge two passions—printing and technology. Over the years, George transitioned into software development for printers, helping shape tools that drive the industry forward.

In 2016, he returned to his roots in a hands-on way, transforming his basement into a fully equipped print shop. Since then, he’s decorated thousands of garments and built lasting relationships with customers who appreciate his mix of craftsmanship, innovation, and genuine care.

Whether he’s writing code, perfecting a karate kata, or pressing a bold design onto fabric, George brings the same values to everything he does: discipline, creativity, and community.

In addition to running Lizard Tee, George also founded Lizard Transfers, a full-service direct-to-film transfer business that serves printers and creators nationwide.
