Useful things to know before you order.

How DTF works

The design is printed in full color onto a special film, backed with white ink and adhesive, then heat-pressed onto the garment. A finishing press produces a clean, durable bond.

Built for detailed artwork

DTF handles gradients, photographs, fine lines, small lettering, and many colors without requiring a separate screen for every color in the design.

Flexible order sizes

Because the setup is digital, DTF is useful for short runs, one-off pieces, changing designs, and orders that mix personalized names or artwork.

Fabric versatility

Transfers work on many cotton, polyester, and blended garments. We select pressing settings for the fabric and test questionable materials before production.

ARTWORK CHECKLIST

Help us produce the best result.

  • Supply a transparent-background PNG at 300 DPI and the intended print size when possible.
  • Vector AI, EPS, SVG, and print-ready PDF files are also welcome.
  • Avoid low-resolution screenshots and small web images, which can print soft or pixelated.
  • Very faint transparencies, glows, and tiny isolated details may need adjustment for a reliable transfer.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Keep it looking great.

  • Wait at least 24 hours before the first wash.
  • Turn the garment inside out and machine wash cold.
  • Use mild detergent and avoid bleach or fabric softener.
  • Tumble dry low or hang dry, and never iron directly on the transfer.
COMMON QUESTIONS

Digital Printing FAQs.

Is DTF the same as vinyl?

No. DTF is a digitally printed, full-color transfer and does not require each design element to be cut and weeded like traditional heat-transfer vinyl.

Can DTF print photographs and gradients?

Yes. Reproducing detailed, full-color artwork is one of DTF’s strongest advantages.

Does it work on dark garments?

Yes. A white ink layer beneath the artwork keeps the colors visible and vibrant on dark fabric.

Does a large print feel heavier?

Coverage affects feel. We can review large solid areas and suggest artwork adjustments that improve flexibility and breathability.
